For those who are "into" landscape lighting.....or maybe just interested in it......
I have been doing it for a while as part of my business and as most of you know LED technology has really changed the way we approach lighting in many applications and landscape lighting is no different.
It took me a little while to get up to speed in transitioning from traditional to LED and also manufacturing has come a long ways too.
To get to the point of my post......I was just now searching for "Par 36 LED bulbs" and ran across this one that can change colors at what I consider a very reasonable price. I have already been buying and using the MR 16 bulbs that do this in limited applications but a PAR 36 bulb has a broader beam and thus is a little different than the MR 16 in certain applications (like uplighting multiple trunk palms). It's only 9 watts and the cost is only $34.99.
I'm going to order some because I love the whole idea of using colored uplights in certain applications. It reminds me of some of the mid-century modern designs we enjoyed in the 60's.

The advantage of using LED is longer bulb life, less energy required (saves money on electric bill), smaller size transformer and cable can be used, and also the brilliance is amazing.
