I was in the very conservative city of San Marino's (suburb f LA) building dept today. A young man in his late 20s / 30s with tatoos up to his neck, arms covered, and those big holes in his ears waiting to speak to the building people about possibility of opening a flower shop in the city. I immediately see the women body gesture and tone of voice changed behind the counter. It was not for the better. I am thinking to myself, Why TF would a guy looking like that want to open up a flower shop in a Conservative city like San Marino. This place is full of seasoned Doctors and lawyers. Imelda Marcos owns a home there. I didn't want to be near him. He just looked dirty. Now you boys get off my damn lawn.
