1983 Raleigh - US team pursuit

Ten of theses bikes were designed and fabricated by Mike Melton at the US Cycling Team Technical Development Center in Dayton, Ohio in May of 1983, and were specifically issued to each of the track pursuit riders. Later that summer in Caracas, Venezuela, South America they were ridden to a Gold Metal finish by the US Team Pursuit Squad of John Beckman, Brent Emory, Dave Grylls, Danny Van Haut, Steve Hegg, and Harvey Nitz.
