I spent a day with Grady years ago in Louisville. I was living in Southern Indiana. I drove my 964 RS clone project over and we had lunch and then went back to his Dad's home where we visited for a while. His father was a unique man too. Very engaged intellectually just like his son. Interested everything. Informed on seemingly any topic. Grady's passion for the hobby was genuine. He was patient with guys like me who know way less than him about Porsche. I am very sorry to hear about his passing and can only hope for him that it was peaceful. RIP Grady.
