I don't understand two things here.
First, how did all those cars (that left those skid marks) lose it in that manner. Looks like there is a left-right "S", and at a point where the line is turning left, the skid marks abruptly make a sharp right and barrel into the wall. Why did that happen? Were the drivers overcooking it in the previous turn so that they entered the "S" totally out of control? I've never seen this track but just can't figure it out from the pics.
Second, why is the wall there, anyway? What is it protecting?
