A relevant comparison is if you just bought a 69 S (or whatever car) for 100k and slapped a price tag of $195k on it -- which is (lets say) $50k over a normal market price.
As a consumer, I would certainly like to know that you are into the car for $100k, so when I offer a fair price, and you come back with a sob story of how much you put into the car, how "there isn't an meat on the bone" etc., I know where a reasonable dealer will actually be willing to bargain.
Of course a dealer will sell higher than he bought -- it is a business, after all. But it is no crime for both parties to go into a negotiation with somewhat equivalent information.
So if a dealer just bought a car on this site -- and is now selling it on the same site for $30k more, presenting that information is a useful public service.
That isn't bashing flippers -- that is providing public information to potential buyers -- which is what I perceive this board is intended to do.

Well said. Couldn't agree more.
