Hey all,

Thanks for your input!

I contacted the seller 9 minutes after the ad went up but by the next day someone had already dropped a deposit on it. I'm next in what sounds to be a very very long line.

Yes, I did indeed just turn 20 but I'm not a stranger to classic cars. I currently drive a bmw e30 convertible I've given new life and my dad been restoring trucks all his life.

I'm from a farm so in the winter my dad spends all his time in our well equipped shop. I'm in university for agricultural sciences but for the summer I work as a sprayer operator currently (7 days a week and near 20 hour days which is why I couldn't make it out right away!) so I have some mechanical inclination.

I also have a winter car so I can keep the salt off my other vehicles.

Looks like it might be best to save a couple more years and buy a more original 930, the skyrocketing prices make it seem like they may be out of reach though in a couple year. That being said the idea of a frankenstein car has always scared me in terms of handling and I imagine the notorious turbo would only accentuate the issue. I've never been one to thrash cars (my bmw is running great with 380k kms) but I would like the piece of mind knowing I'm on a solid platform.

Thanks again for all your opinions!

Really means a lot to me
