I went downtown to a great place called the Beaver street brewery. BURP! I will post more about that in the thread I started about Flagstaff.
Good beer and good food 10 minutes from the hotel room. I pulled into a spot that was PERFECT. On a corner with curbs on two sides and a wide spot since it was on the end.
Downtown area is a pure college town atmosphere and for some reason I feel like an outsider.
They had one bar with live music outside, people everywhere and if I was 30 years younger and single I would still be down there having fun.
Since I am an old married geezer I came back to the room so I can go to bed early and get some sleep so I can get up at the crack of dawn and drive to California.
The strange part of that, at my age I prefer to go to bed early and get to Monterey way more than chasing skirts and staying up late. BTDT, don't wanna do it again.
