It's good that you get checked out, but you also need to make sure the right person is checking you out. (Which depends on what hurts.) Fancy tests can be useful, but you also have to interpret them with a grain of salt. Is that disc herniation related to the crash? Or was it even there (asymptomatically) even before the crash? It's good that the CT scan didn't find anything terrible like internal organ injury, but it may take a few days for you to know if other structures are hurt or not.
