If you're having back issues, in general a CT scan is not the most appropriate test to get. You have to interpret a study in light of the story--the mechanism of injury, the patient's complaints, and the physical exam--the patient presents. That herniated disc may or may not be why your back hurts now. This is not stuff best done over the internet.
