Here is my PT1911 in its holster. Problems I had were the feed lips to both factory mags cracked within the first couple hundred rounds. I had the feed ramp polished before I discovered it was the faulty magazines. I replaced the mags with wilson combat mags and they are by far the best magazine I have used so far. The other problem I have is the weapon shoots low every time for me. Always centered but low. I had better shooters shoot it and they were low too. So the next mod I might do is change the sites so I can get closer to center. As far as reliability, after I changed out the mags I have never had a problem with it going bang.
