Whoa. I've been spread a little thin lately, but saw the nicely done banner at the top. Shocked isn't sufficient to capture my feelings.
I, like many others, have read his postings for years now. (over a decade I'd guess, for me) Never met him, but boy, did his personality and knowledge come through in his posts...

The one thing that really struck me was how he must have had 28 hours in HIS days. His posts were SO detailed, backed up with photos and links and workshop pages to go to......they clearly were the works of significant time. But- he had a full life as a shop owner and mentor and he was building a race car for his stepson....heck, I don't know where he found the time! Me? I never get my laundry done, much less write what is essentially a book of useful posts on this site!

My other takeaway was his generosity. The stories I heard, such as the shop party to show the "Le Mans" film at Christmas, plus his support of the young student (college isn't cheap!!!) and on and on....

As Wayne has pointed out, it's getting to be a trend here...Warren, Ron from LI, now Grady...

I guess the silver lining is that when we lose a member like Grady is shows that this forum is far more than a bunch of bits and bytes on the internet, it's an actual community. A far flung community, but one nonetheless.

Godspeed, Grady, and thanks for enriching our world.
