Be aware that colors/tones may change after a few months.
-Some dyes sit on the surface of wood.
-Some are completely absorbed after a week or two.
Wait before top-coating.
Use gloves when handling.
If absolutely necessary, temporarily finish using the same type of oil used in the stain.
