Like most, I have a few divorced friends that have ventured into the world of online dating.
One gets laid like he is in a women's prison with a handful of pardons. He says it can get a bit 'Play Misty for Me' at times, but he isn't looking to get married and that he's gotten better at separating the wheat from the crazy.

LOL. A buddy of mine is the same way. He's not much to look at but is a reasonably successful single guy that owns his own home, CPA with a good career, etc. He's also never been married, so he doesn't have a damaged goods label on him. Sometimes he'll end up in a relationship for months, sometimes he'll end up hooking up with a MILF that messaged him that day. I think he's also not seriously looking to get married, so it works for him.
Had I not married a woman crazy enough to tolerate me almost 12 years ago, I would definitely try online dating. I think of it like this - say you go to the bar and there are 100 women there. You judge them just like they are evaluating you, so let's say there are 10 that you are interested in. Of the 10 that you then talk to, you get one number. That's step 1 in the real world dating process. Now I'm not a beautiful hunk of a man like motion , but I don't recall having the women beat down my door when I was a single man. Personally I don't think online is really any worse than normal dating, because they both suck.
