Probably. I haven't done it. I doubt it's that big a drop, but it's still going to drop a lot. the key to the 6.2L's fuel economy is *NOT* using the power, and allowing it to loaf in 4 cylinder mode (not the green "V4" icon in the photo).
I get around 11 mpg towing just about anything with my 8.1L big-block 4x4. I'd imagine the new 6.2L would do significantly better. But not 25 mpg
