True, but I've taken the CA Handgun Safety Certificate test and a Hunter Safety class, and I really think if you take the material from HSC to heart you've got all the most important info you need.
It's a question of whether or not you really committ to preventing accidents. Every time I see an article about somebody dying because somebody thought a gun wS unloaded, or thought they had kept it away from their kids I send it to my wife and remind both her and myself that it only takes one mistake, one moment of forgetfulness.
