Chris, I just ordered another temp sensor for my motor. The factory installed sensor always seems higher then the gauge. I still have issues at 3500 to 4000 rpms. I have never over heated but I have got to 240 F! When I let off the gas the temp drops right down. I am curious to see how your engine works at a high rpm. In fact, I would love everyone who has an LS1 to drive their cars at 4000 rpm's for 5 to 10 miles and let me know what temps they get by using a computer attached to the obd2 connection. Normal driving conditions the car is always 168 to 205 but since I don't have a taller 5th gear when I hit the highway for long distance I still have to be keeping the car under 3500 rpms! I realize that you don't have an LS1 but I am curious to see how your motor cools with that rad radiator setup!
