If you want a gold digger, yes. There are exceptions but most nurses I know that chase doctors want the money and "the life of a doctor's wife". Personally, I stayed away from doctors. I see their workload and how they are on-call all the time. Difficult and stressful. I didn't want that for my future family so that's why I never chased a doctor. In fact, I was pre-med and switched to nursing after volunteered at a hospital and the Ronald McDonald House. Observed nurses spending much more time with the patients. Switched majors after that.
Secondly, I probably can only recall about two doctors in my whole nursing career that I would be actually interested in anyway...
