I have been doing cargo pants... phone, keys, wallet, maybe a small water bottle... I travel light.
Sorry but the one strap backpack was designed for high schoolers who are too cool to wear a regular backpack...
I did have a interesting discussion with some buddies who use the messenger bags to carry their laptops...because apparently laptop back are not cool either.
