It's not "A River Runs Through it" but these are some photos from where I grew up at. It has a different kind of beauty compared to the western part of the state. All the same, I think it's a very special place. C'Mon, it has High School Rodeo as a sport!
It's in Southeastern Montana about 100 miles east of Billings and 45 miles west of Miles City near Custer Battlefield on the Yellowstone River. In a lot of ways it was a great place to be a kid. It's very different from how my kids are growing up, and I think they are missing something sometimes.
