Did you do this yourself?
Did you sandblast off the old enamel?
I'm going with a gray/back theme to match my black hood.
Today I plan on replacing the spark plugs, rotor and distributor cap, then return an old battery to the store for the core money.
Then if it doesn't get too hot, wet sand down my hood with 400, 600, 800, 1,000, 1,200, 1,800 sand paper, and buff/polish.
If the metal store on Industrial road is open I might finally pick up my battery box supplies, a task which keeps getting delayed.
EDIT:
All I did today was wet sand my black hood. It didn't go so well, took too much off, the base paint just was too rough and uneven and could not be saved. Pity as the primer went on perfect last month. I'm rethinking all my options at the moment over a beer.
