Good advice. I ended up with Behr's Frost in eggshell for the walls, a fairly bright white that isn't sterile. Vanity will be a very deep black in satin and will make pulls from Al C-channel from Home Depot. Might polish them. I priced black veneer and couldn't justify it. Trim I may go with Behr's French Silver, it's right in the middle of greys with either red in them or blue in them.

Post a pic or two of your grey if you don't mind, would like to see it.
