I've always been a fan of the 928, but you can't compare their value to air cooled. Apples to orangutans. They were ahead of their time, but hard to service and work on. Good looking, Yes! Desirable? No.
If I had a warehouse full of cars, maybe.
And FWIW, Matt did hit the nail on the head.
