I always laugh my ass off when people with these kind of bikes show up at a century ride and complain after 70 miles how tires they are and are crawling up a slight incline. why not buy a sports bike instead of a hardcore racing bike for that?
A friend gave me a set of new Mavic carbon Cosmics as a gift just the other day because I saved his bacon with some construction stuff. I am afraid to ride it on the street because I don't deserve a fast set of wheel because I am just not that fast. Tricked wheels or not, I still get drop on the hammerhead ride.
