the skin is about the same as stock maybe a little less but not much at all . if you want to knock down the DB's a little more let it dry and apply another coat of the sound coating .
we still use the padding were the rear package shelf is and the back of the rear seat area but it's more because of fitment of the rest of the parts there .
it kind of holds things so years down the road they don't sag from no support under them .
