You guys are getting caught up in the numbers and missing the real issue...it's a chitbox. For those not in the know, "chitbox" is an industry term meaning "box containing chit"
The materials and build quality of Chrysler products (and GM) is/are horrendous. Making the numbers look pretty is the easy part...
I've been in the automotive manufacturing world for ~30 years (did take a 5 year hiatus) and I assure you the materials and design used by Chrysler/GM (Ford to a lesser extent) is simply inferior.
All of the above is my educated and experienced opinion and nothing else so feel free to tell me I'm wrong as you're welcome to your opinions as well
