just wondering.... did it just fail abruptly or was it a slow decay? I have 92k miles and no failure yet on my 09. Thinking of replacing mine with the vertex one as preventive maintenance (hate to wait till it fails when I'm a kazillion miles from home). Seems that more cayenne owners are over at rennlist more write ups about drive shaft failure there.
