ICV is idle control valve. Keeps idle speed constant, but probably doesn't have anything to do with your miss. I had a miss that turned out to be a bad ground. I've also had it miss when the battery wasn't fully charged from a defective alternator, so you might check that all your electrical grounds are clean and tight and that battery voltage when running is good. IIRC it should be 13.5 to 14.0.
