Welcome, you will love Denver and Colorado.
I have lived in CO all my life, but more north: Longmont and Ft. Collins.
You will love driving in the mountains and canyons. We have a pretty well attended cars-n-coffee the first Saturday of the month, and our very own Porsche Breakfast club that meets the second Saturday of the month.
As far living north of Denver, there is a toll road from the north that goes to the airport- E-470, speed limit 75. It is probably pretty wide open in the morning just because it is a toll road. But fast, it takes me about 15-20 minutes once I get on the road to get into the airport.
