How many hours, out of the (supposed) typical 40hr/week, does the average worker get to
sleep? --zero, I expect.
How many hours, out of the typical 48hr/week, does the average fire fighter get to
sleep? --16, I expect.
I have yet to find a FF who needs a dog sitter. I expect they exist - such heavy problems...

You mean because you're home so much? Yeah, I get that too.
Any pension that survives the boomers is fat. Pensions drop like flies for so many others who thought they were getting something for the future. Most workers have nothing of the sort.
