Don't know if you are driving into Boston but I worked there several times and never bothered renting a car, the light rail (trolley) runs into the airport and many hotels are less than a block from a trolley stop. They put us up at the Royal Sonesta and it was very nice, technically across the river in Cambridge but close to the trolley stop that will take you just about anywhere in Boston (or Harvard) and you don't have to hassle driving and parking... did I mention I'm a big fan of the trolley?
