Only a rare person will notice the difference between MP3 and ACC.
I would buy music on Amazon that was more expensive and more detailed for sure, but to be honest, there is no market because music does not sound worse today than 5 years ago. It sounds better.
I play MP3 files outdoors in a 90' x 80' environment all October long, using QSC K8s and an Allen and Heath mixer. And quite honestly, at normal volume levels MP3s are certainly acceptable.
