When I was at a friend's shop mounting tires on my early Fuchs we were a little stumped too. Then my friend said, "It probably takes a fatty" That must be a technical term in the industry. I looked closely at the ones that work and they are quite big in dia at the part where they go through the hole. They bear the part number TR-415. If you ask for these at any tire shop, they should have them.
