One of our work vehicles blew a tyre and was driven to work with the spare. Once here all the tyres on said vehicle were inspected and one tyre was found to be suspect. Said vehicle was deemed to be unsafe to drive back to town (40km) to get new tyres. Okay, can deal with that.
The admin manager, in all his wisdom, has decided to hire a flat bed recovery vehicle from town to come get said vehicle for it to be transported to town for fitting of new tyres. WTF?
It's not like there's another 15 vehicles sitting around here doing sweet FA, that can transport the rooted wheels/tyres to town then bring them back. What a useless waste of $$$$, or am I missing something?
