boing-a-boing-a-boing...

These give the old girl 2 inches on original (don't know any old girl that will say no to an extra 2 inches ). I've got a similar TD setup already that's now knacked - the old girl drags her arse a bit as she has a saggy bum like an old kingswood, and the left hand rear has collapsed a little with the constant weight of a 70L second fuel tank, a 45kg 105Ah AGM battery, and a 40L Engel fridge. The fronts struts moan and complain a lot, thus this time (this is the 4th set of suspension in just over 200k kms) I opted to refresh the strut mounts as well.

This also had the extra benefit that the struts came pre-assembled, and thus will save heaps of time fitting. I've gone for the next level up in the springs, as the old girl is always carrying a load for going into the never never. Heavy duty springs front and back with the rear set up for 300kg-to-GVM.

I like the flexibility and durability of the 800% adjustable 40mm bore foam cell shocks all round. The foam cells take longer to fade on the corrugated roads, so 4 new ones to go in.

Woohoo!
