Resurrected this week-old thread because I've been busy completing a purchase of a car that I initially saw on the bay. Second "after e-bay" purchase I've made. It's a great place to advertise.

Cashier's checks - I have taken them when I went to the sellers bank, and they wrote it on the spot. Maybe there is a way to game that system, but it seems safe to me.
