fwiw, I run into Jeff fairly often - a few time a year. Never by arrangement, always by chance. Anyway You couldn't be more wrong. He's one of those soft-spoken guys who is keenly aware - more than most, and often chuckles quietly at the idiots.
But otoh, if you think that your leaning on him with social pressure will keep him from leaning on others with social pressure-and annoying pipes, then ... I dunno.
