I am the resident fluffer but yes, I do a bit of pediatrics on the side.

At work I am fairly careful washing my hands after every contact with acute illness in children as the pathogens mostly are viral airway microorganisms that generally are very contagious. Most of us will of course still get contaminated on a Daily basis but paradoxically we are very rarely sick. Arguably our immune defense system develop a high level of tolerance.

The rest room germs on the other hand does not bother me at all besides generally being disgusting Environments. The reason for that is that although most of the Surfaces probably are packed with microorganisms, they are mostly of a fecal origin, like coli bacteria and the like. They are much less pathogenic in that setting and any contamination will most likely not lead to illness.

Mind you, I wouldn´t lick the toilet seat though..
