had a top 10 beer!

last weekend i went backpacking. the mission was to "educate" a friend just how difficult it was going to be dragging big packs up and over 10,500 feet in the eastern sierras.

his training has been beer, rib cook offs, and cigars..he felt his relative youth, would trump my daily 3 mile trail runs. he's 35, i'm 47...he is way overweight..

anyways, we gave ourselves an overnight with truck camping to adjust our lungs to the 8000+ o2 levels. woke up, donned packs and off we went.

i had put a six pack of the only beer some gas station had..regular Bud. they had light..didnt drink any, but i did put the entire icechest into a bear box when we headed out.

the hike was AWESOME for me. haha. coming down the mountain, it was 95 degrees. i had given my buddy most of my water. when i got to my truck, i grabbed my ice chest..it was still sloshing with ice water. lots of ice. MY BEER!

i took one out, it was like that damn commercial. ice stuck to the can..i slammed half..OMG!! there were angels singing in my mouth. i dumped the other half cuz had to drive. my bud was having muscle spasms.

i think i like budweiser! (i still have the other five cans in my fridge)..i dont drink much..
