That type of training evolution is typically done around week 7 of BCT....there is no excuse....it's just scary.....
"Uh, Drill Sgt, I think I dropped my grenade somewhere over there" after laying his weapon on the ground, loaded, ejection port down would have gotten him 2 weeks in RTC and recycled to day 1 in my day....fark I'm getting old...
