962porsche: You mean I should take to a sand/bead blasting shop to get the rust removed I presume. As far as painting steps want to make sure I got your instructions right.

First pain with SEM rust shield (off the shelf product readily available?). Next mix up hardner (where do I get this, and the paint) and paint in proportions noted. Put it in a sprayer and paint. Is that about right? What kind of sprayer would you recommend? Sorry for all the 20 questions, but as I said this is new to me, and don't want to be a DIY screw up.
