I ditched the newspaper method, among others, for an easy but effective way.

. I buy 100% cotton, surgical grade, rags and use AS LITTLE AS, aerosol can only, Invisible Glass.
The rags are abrasive and a 2 rag method is best. The "wet" one which you use to do the scrubbing and moving of product. And the dry, which basically acts as a buffer.
A the window is getting more clean, liken to using a clay bar, you can feel the surface get nice
