Reading some of the replies reminded me of the mis-adventures of a class mate in high school who borrowed daddy's car one evening to "go in to town". When he tried the reverse-to-drive trick on main street to impress his friends, the transmission packed it in. That left him in a broken car at the end of one not-too-impressive black mark.
