So, I guess that rude people with tattoos must be a real PITA, huh?
Seriously though, what I find most interesting about this relatively recent 'tattoos-for-the-masses' trend, is the force of the herd mentality that's spreading it. People who ten years ago would've never considered getting even a single tattoo, are now sporting full sleeves and more. It's a wonder how so many can decide to permanently alter their appearance seemingly on a whim, merely to follow some new fashion trend. And those with limited imaginations and/or thin wallets are winding up with some truly unattractive work. And what of the people who can't seem to come up with anything remotely meaningful to adorn their hide with, and who'll simply settle for a mash-up of lines & colors? They just need to join the club...that's all that matters.
When it comes to tattoos, I think that the 'less-is-more' approach is good. A few quality pieces here & there can be tasteful, whereas sleeves and full legs, chests & backs can be too much like having to wear the same clothes day after day...for the rest of your life!
