How is raising your price bad?
The buyer only pays what he feels is a fair price.
If the car is misrepresented, then yes, that is bad.... but simply trying to get more for the car is their right.
I went to BHMC to look at a car for a friend. It was pretty bad and I told him to pass, but no one there even talked to me. I was actually pretty impressed that they let me poke all around the car (1987 Testarossa) without harassing me at all.
