If the nick name for the Warthog was Eagle he would think the A-10 was. He loves the A-10. Has a die cast toy of one. Almost as durable as the real ones. He also loves the YF-23.
Madison was base for an A-10 squadron. Got to talk to quite a few pilots when we were doing some work on base. The A-10 does not eject its shell casings, it cycles them back to the drum. They would turn in all the empties at the end of the month and have a huge party.
One day we were playing at mom and dads and I hid behind the couch for my "base" and he got around that by telling me he had his plane drop sensor fused cluster bombs on me. I was like "Dude, we need to watch less Future Weapons".
