My sentiments as well. I appreciated them, liked quite a few of their songs (still do) but they were
everywhere. Didn't help that my little sis had them on constant rotation in her bedroom growing up.
Still, lot of good relevant music came out of that era. It's a shame that some (Layne, Kurt, Starr, Phaff, etc) couldn't make it through, using that time as a springboard to better things rather than as a personal coda.
