Water temp - a concern for me, for sure.
.
When I scoot that 11' Costco umbrella (built a dolly for it - sand pedestal weighs 200 lbs.) around to block the sun over the side edge and then over the deep end (9 feet) later in the day, I can keep the water temp around 84'. When I just leave it sitting at that deep end, the water gets up to 87' - 88'...today the water temp may reach 90'.
But even when the water temp is in the high 80's it can be quite pleasant at 10 -11 pm when the ambient temp is 90' - 95'.
.
I like the water temp down around 82', myself, (nice and brisk) and have an idea and a drawing for a mobile white tarp cover assembly for that deep end.
.
I have another 11' Costco umbrella still to unpack and to build another dolly for it and then place it over the water.
.
Nothing like a cool swim just before retiring for the night here in Dismal Nitch, AZ.
