[Jolly Amaranto]

The pool here is 90° this afternoon. When I was in high school, I used to swim in a friends pool. His dad would regularly go by the local ice house and pick up a few blocks to throw in the pool. That was his pool cooler. My friend's little brother tried to jump in and stand on one of the enormous ice cubes once. One foot slipped off one side, the other foot off the other. Needless to say he was in great pain for a day or so. I don't even know where I could buy big blocks of ice these days. Most "Ice Houses" these days are just drinking establishments.
