FWIW, on the LED (see pic on post 21) has an extra benefit; I can monitor the battery voltage as I walk past in the darkness of garage. The gauge is an easy read even thru the back window. This is useful as
sometimes-blink-blink, the car sits, and the battery drains from the parasitic alarm. A reminder for a drive or the battery tender.
